MAGNETAR the Neutron Star with the most Powerful Magnetic Field in the Universe

Italian scientists have discovered a MAGNETAR, i.e. a star with one of the largest ever spotted magnetic fields in the Universe. The object, called SGR 0418 5729 is a magnetar, a type of neutron star, dead core of a massive star collapsed on itself after burning all its fuel and have been a supernova.
